Sunekos®

Sunekos® - Restoring skin health from the inside out

Sunekos acts as a collagen booster. By combining Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids, it works to rejuvenate the extracellular matrix (ECM) of your skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, addressing signs of aging, improving elasticity, and enhancing overall skin health.

Sunekos is a treatment indicated both for young, still elastic, and vital skin, to slow down the physiological aging process, and for mature skin to reduce the signs of aging, reactivating cellular functionality.

Because Sunekos concentrates on targeting the deeper layers of the skin, it can deliver lasting improvements — rather than a temporary fix.

FAQs

What is Sunekos® and what does it do?

Sunekos is a cosmetic injectable bio-regenerating treatment that uses a precise patent mix of Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acid that triggers the structure of the extracellular matrix (ECM) resulting in the production of collagen and elastin.

How can I prepare for my treatment?

To minimise the risk of bruising, it's best to avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin and certain supplements a few days before your treatment. I suggest refraining from alcohol consumption for 24 hours prior to the procedure as this can also help reduce the risk of bruising. Other than that, simply stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment to help optimise your skin's condition.

What are the possible side effects?

The side effects are specific to the risks involved with injection sites;

Bleeding, bruising, swelling, numbness, redness, itching and/or pain post treatment.

These symptoms are expected to resolve between 4 and 48 hours.

Inflammation, infections, and slight discolouration of the treated areas may occur. If the patient suffers from poor wound healing, delayed healing may occur.

More serious side effects from Sunekos® injections are rare, however, if you observe side effects around the treated area that last longer than one week, you should inform your provider.

Who should not have Sunekos®?

We cannot do this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What should I do after a Sunekos® treatment?

Avoid touching or applying makeup to the treated areas for at least 4-6 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun exposure for 24 hours after each treatment.
Continue to moisturise your skin regularly and use sunscreen daily to protect your results.
