VISCODERM® HYDROBOOSTER is intended for anyone with concerns about reduced skin quality, in particular those with concerns around loss of skin tone and hydration, and the appearance of superficial wrinkles in the expressive areas of the face such as around the mouth, eyes, and forehead.

Viscoderm® Hydrobooster can be used to effectively target areas of the face, such as:

  • Forehead lines
  • Around the eyes (crow's feet wrinkles, etc.)
  • Around the mouth (lip and smile lines, etc.)

A recommended course is x 2-3 treatments 8 weeks apart for best results.
This can vary with skin type and laxity.

What is Viscoderm® and what does it do?

Viscoderm® Hydrobooster is an advanced injectable treatment designed to deeply hydrate the skin and improve its elasticity, smoothness, and radiance. Developed with high-purity hyaluronic acid, Viscoderm® Hydrobooster works to rejuvenate the skin from within, offering both deep hydration and a subtle lifting effect.

How can I prepare for my treatment?

Avoid alcohol, fish oil and anti-inflammatories for 48 hours prior to your appointment
Ensure you do not have any active infection in the area such as cold sores

What are the possible side effects?

As with any cosmetic treatment, side effects can occur. You may experience side effects that are localised and temporary which usually disappears after a few days. Symptoms may include redness, swelling, itching, or bruising. Hardening or nodules and discolouration of the skin may appear at the point of injection. Please consult your cosmetic practitioner for further information regarding side effects. And if any reactions persist, please consult your practitioner.

Who should not have Viscoderm®?

Viscoderm treatments may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals who should avoid this treatment include:

Those with known allergies to hyaluronic acid or any of the treatment's components.

Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, as the safety of Viscoderm in these cases has not been established.

People with active skin infections, inflammation, or open wounds in the treatment area.

Those with certain medical conditions or on medications that may interfere with healing or increase the risk of complications.

What should I do after a Viscoderm® treatment?

Keep the treated area hydrated by applying moisturiser or serums;
Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 50+ daily;
If you experience prolonged redness and/or heat, a cool compression may help relieve the symptoms;
Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face.
