A needle-free treatment helping relieve seasonal allergies

Constant sneezing, itchy eyes, a runny nose, irritated throat and severe congestion headaches are a few of the frustrating symptoms those who experience hay fever can suffer from. While taking antihistamine medication is the most common route to minimise the effects of hay fever, there’s another option available that can help ease these symptoms - botulinum toxin.

FAQs - The answers you need

Haytox works by targeting the nerve endings in the nasal mucosa using Botulinum toxin. It blocks these nerve receptors from responding to allergy-causing pollen, grasses, or dust. This action prevents the immune system from reacting to these usual allergens, which can help stop hay fever and allergy symptoms before they start. The treatment is non-invasive and is applied inside the nostrils, directly to the nasal membranes, without the need for needles, injections, or any pain. It’s a quick and convenient option for those seeking relief from hay fever symptoms.

No severe complications after cosmetic use of Botox have been reported in the literature when administered by a trained doctor or nurse in an accredited medical facility…. EVER. The use of botulinum toxin for hayfever symptoms, known as Haytox treatment, is considered safe for most people, but is not suitable for everyone. It should not be used by individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or those with certain neurological disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis, Eaton Lambert Syndrome, or Motor Neurone Disease1. It’s also advised to delay treatment if you have severe nasal congestion, an upper respiratory tract infection, or an infection in the nasal passages.

During the treatment, a syringe device is gently placed inside your nostril, and the Haytox is sprayed into each nostril. This feels similar to using a nasal spray.

Aftercare: You’re advised to avoid blowing your nose and vigorous exercise for 4 hours after treatment
